What is Swordphish?

Swordphish is a proof of concept security tool that visualizes phishing attacks within emails in real-time. It uses Postmark's inbound procesing feature to parse and analyze an email.

The results are displayed in a user-friendly interface. It highlights potential phishing threats and shows the email's metadata for security analysis.

Setup

💡 Tip: Start with emails that seem urgent or asks for personal information.

Find an email you want to analyze a phishing attempt for, then forward it to abuse@scan.steponeis.com.

Refresh the Email Analysis Tab

⚠️ This application uses a local database to save information. Do not submit any personal or sensitive information.

The inbox will display some test emails. You will see the email you forwarded appear in this list. Once you see your email, click on it to view the analysis.
